[The lady from the north is visiting her brother today, complete with a street hockey ball and two sticks. Canada's even wearing a polite, but hopeful smile when she rings his doorbell and waits for him to answer. She has her reasoning behind this all figured out.]

[America answers the door with a smile and fairly beams when he sees Canada, ignoring the equipment and scooping her up into a bear hug.]

How's my favorite sister today? [Also his only sister, to his knowledge, but not the point.]

[mounties]

[Canada squeaks at just how quick that hug comes, but hugs America back awkwardly, watching her ball roll onto his lawn.]

I'm good, America. How are you?

I feel great! Are you having a good day?

Mmm, had a good breakfast with my housemates, and now I've decided we need to do something together.

I'd love to!

[mounties]

Great! Because I was thinking, you know, nationhood is sort of like parenthood and that means that a day for mothers should also include the nations you live next to, so when I suggest we play hockey, you should strongly consider humouring me.

[redwhiteandhero]

... I don't really get it, but you know I'd never say no to a little sports. [Sure, hockey wouldn't have been his first choice, but if it was hockey Canada wanted, it was hockey Canada would get.] Pass me the stick.

[Nope, she just needs someone to walk into. As usual. She's still getting used to Mayfield and thus, easily distracted.]
