Who: Annie Goldstein, Sara Mudou, The Major
When: idk aroundish this week sometime
Where: Sara's house and then Casa Fuck-Up
What: Annie ate Sara in a non-sexy way during the Break event. They talk about it. The Major finds out. This is the opposite of a positive outcome.
Warnings: The Major. Annie. Mentions of cannibalism. None of these are good things.
Annie has spent the larger part of a half hour pacing outside of Sara's house, wondering if she should knock on the door or not. How does she even go about doing this? "Hey, sorry for, like, eating you and shit, are we still bros?" That probably wasn't going to fly. But, she'll never find out if she keeps standing out here like a fucking idiot.
... So, she throws a rock at the door.
Best idea.

But of course, he can't let someone he hates go unnoticed.
"Oh. Back so soon? How fortunate."

"What, were you staying up for me? That's not fucking creepy at all."

There's knowing where you live like the back of your hand, and then there's the way the Major knows this house. In most cases, it would be an exaggeration to say someone knows every inch, every cranny and nook of a place.
In the Major's case, it's debatable just how much exaggeration that would be.
"I'm astounded you come back some nights, to be quite fair. Even the girl has figured out she doesn't need to be here every night.
Or do you merely have no friends to go back to?"

It isn't a complete lie. While the Major loves to be feared, it's an ancillary goal, even with Annie. He hates her; truly hates her, and that's abnormal for him. And he does want her out of the house, wants her out of his face, but he won't admit to that. Not in open, not to her. That would be like handing her a small victory.
"But I am curious.
How did she taste?"
no subject
"H... How..." She doesn't know how to feel. Anger? Fear? Mostly, she's just stunned, confused. How did he know? Only two people in the whole town knew... No, Sara wouldn't have told. And Annie knew that she hadn't... "... Fuck you."
no subject
"I don't see why you're so angry. It's not as if you've done anything wrong, according to your own moral code."

"Explain then. What is the difference between this murder and the murders you committed in May and claimed to have no guilt from?"

The Major leans back in his chair, the wood giving a creak at the shifting of his weight on it.
"It doesn't change the fact you did, did you? And yet, such things shouldn't bother a monster, now should they?
They're but a part of your nature, in the end. Maybe it was an outside force guiding you this time.
But it's ultimately what you are, regardless."

Her voice sounds softer than usual.

Laughter is something that comes easily to the Major. It always has, and always will. But right now it seems a little madder at most. And it's hard to tell why that is. If it's just a sign of his cruelty, his derangement.
Or if that statement is just too damn funny, Annie.

She slams her fists down on the table. "You're the only fucking monster here! How the fuck did you find out in the first place! How the fuck did you know!"
no subject
"Well.
I suppose you might say I had a little help from my friends."

My, how unfair!"

And the actions you may take against me? Apply to all those you know, as well."

What you do reflects upon those who associate with you as well, Annie. And it provides me with a knowledge of who you care about. You've allowed yourself to have an opening in your already...rather fragile armor!
I would be a fool not to strike at it, if it should ever suit me, would I not?"
